Authors Purpose battle ship

Today for Authors purpose I played Authors purpose battle ship. This game is really helpful for me and my class. This was very easy and hard at the same time but it was also really helpful.

Multiplication Problem

Today for our Collaborative problem solving me and my friend Ferri worked together and explained our multiplication strategy. We found this pretty easy because every friday we sometimes get multiplication problems so we know the strategy off by heart.

Averages:Mean,Median,Mode,and Range

From the past few weeks my class has been learning about the 4 Averages Mean,Median,Mode,and Range. I found these 4 Averages pretty easy to do, however it is hard to tell which is which. These 4 Averages are really important to know and to learn.

Inferences

Today I have done an inference game that helped me predict and assume what was happening and what was going to happen next. This helped me a lot with my inferences and how I can see them in my writing.

Kahoot

Today for maths my teacher did a kahoot test for us. We had to answer questions on the 4 Averages. On kahoot I came 2nd place and I got 10/12. I felt happy that I got 2nd place because now I know what to work on.

Prototec

Today I have done a prototec practise test to see if I have achieved anything on my fractions and percentages. I guess I have achieved something because I am so proud of myself I got 10/10. This was a piece of cake thanks to the fraction and percentages games I play. 

Decimals

Today I have done a decimal game that helped me alot with my decimals and percentages. This was kind of similar with the fractions game and they are both really helpful. This was pretty difficult when I got to a higher level, but I was able to get it through.

Fractions

Today I haved played an equivalent fraction game to help me with my fractions. On my last blog post I did a post on my prototec and I said I struggled a lot on my fractions, but today that all changed. I completed this game and I was so proud because all this time I did not know a strategy to solve fractions but now I do. 

Prototec Practise test

Today I have done an prototec practise test to check if I have achieved anything but you know what I am still the same. I really have to work harder next time and try to learn my fractions and percentages the most.

Problem solving

Today I did a DLO on a Multiplication problem. I found this very easy because I do Place value a lot on multiplication problems or addition. Place value is one of the most easiest strategy to use for multiplication problems.

Explanation Quiz

Today I answered some questions about explanation writing and I got 90%. I really have to improve myself like knowing what is explanation writing and I also have to learn what kind of tense to use in explanation writing. I will improve myself by trying my best to practise every weekday to get better. 

Collaborative Problem solving

Today I did a subtraction problem using tidy numbers. I found this pretty easy because the more I learned how to use tidy numbers the more it is easy for me. Tidy numbers are the best strategy to use for Addition and Subtraction Problems.
