After watching this amazing video (Waka Ama) I thought

YES / NO

Why? Well Waka Ama includes a lot of fitness and a lot of strength and I believe that I am able to do it because anything is possible with just a lot of effort, however it looks pretty cool as well. Waka Ama is an amazing sporting event and I wish some day I can learn how to do it from a excellent pro so someday I can represent my country for the Waka Ama.

Summer Learning Journey Day 1 Activity 2

Hello fellow travelers,

Just letting you know that my voyage to New Zealand is going absolutely amazing and satisfying. I've got more and more excited as I go pass many interesting sea creatures on my journey. It is very scary and really hard moving to New Zealand, however I know I will fit in just fine. I will let you know more very soon.

Summer Learning Journey Day 1 Activity 1

3 facts about Maui

1. Maui used a jawbone that his ancestors has given him, which however he used to pull up the North island
2. Maui had magical powers and was certainly better than his foster brothers.
3. Maui was also surprisingly trickster

I haven't really been that fascinated about Maui but after reading this story about maui and his brothers it created a whole new world for me to learn more about him, however the only story I really heard about him was Maui and the Sun, and just now I learned a new story about Maui and his brothers trying to slow down the sun to make the days much more longer.

Prototec 2017 Term 4

Today for maths I did a prototec on stage 7. I found this very hard but I am happy with the score I got, hopefully the next time I do a prototec I will be able to get 100%. I think I haven't achieved that much, because since the holidays are coming up my brain is already switched off. Hopefully when I come back to school my mind will switch on and I will achieve many.

Collaborative Problem solving

Today in the first session of school my group and I did a DLO based on how to solve fraction problems using multiplication and Division. We found this quite easy because we learned these strategies a lot. We hope you learnt something from our DLO. I hope you enjoy it.

iTheft - Collaborative Mystery Solving

Today for the morning session we had a visitor come into our classroom and she did some observation. For that observation we decided to do some collaborative mystery solving. My group and I found this very easy, because we had experience on doing this kind of task and it was kind of similiar so that helped us a lot. In this task we had to read a passage and find the suspects of the story so we had to agree if it was that person or we would disagree if it was a different person. Also we had to find the clues to find the guilty person in the story. Our group did collaborate together because we shared each others ideas and talked to each other about it.

WALT: solve word problems using the best strategy we know

Today for maths we did Collaborative problem solving. We were making DLO's on subtraction problems and we thought that algorithm was the best strategy. I found this very easy but typing it all down was pretty hard. Next time I know that I will achieve great and better things.
