Austria opinion

A teacher in another school has recently blogged that:

“Students don’t learn much playing this game called Astria – Countdown to Impact: Their time could be better spent doing other things”.

I strongly disagree, because this game teaches us numerous of things such as: New vocabulary,critical thinking,inferences and so on.

This game may just be about finding clues and inferences but it has taught me some new words, for example I didn't know the word schematic until this game taught me it was a word for a detailed plan. Even though I have learnt new vocabulary, there wasn't that much questions asking about vocabulary, for example,what is the definition of a word or what's another word for this word.

Even though I only played this for an hour I have gained more knowledge by a collaborative effort.

What I did here was I took a photo of myself in black and white. I then looked for a pattern photo to put on top of my photo of myself. Teachers Strike

Today I drew a picture based on what we had to do for class on air.
I had to draw a picture that explained a personification I picked it out from the novel The City of Ember. 

 EXAMPLE: My Heart was pounding. 

 What is a Personification? Personification is when you give human qualities to nonhuman things. 

 I am glad I was able to finish my work and have a clear understanding on what a personification is.

Today for the middle block my class and I were learning how to make a simple and compound sentence. We also learnt the importance of the sentences and how to write them. Today I had a opportunity to write down some facts about certain types of social medias. It is really important to be cyber smart because you do not know what will happen. You might get kidnapped because you gave your address away or you might get hacked because you  gave away your password or username. However I found this pretty easy because I understood that to be cyber smart when it comes to social media.

The importance of having family.

What is the meaning of life? What is the worth of having special people  in your life? The most important people in my life is my Family. The love of a family is one of life’s greatest blessings. Heavenly Father sent families on earth so they can help, support, love, and most of all, teach us. Families are the only ones who unconditionally love you, however the rest of the world you have to earn their love.

Family is like music, there are some high notes and some low notes, but together it always makes a beautiful song. Although families can be together forever, no family is perfect. We fight, we argue, we even stop talking to each other at times. But in the end,we are still family. The bond will always be there, and the love will always be shared.

The moment I spend time with my family I cannot even waste a single second. Whenever I spend time with them I cherish all those moments, as we grow up we will be mature and much more grown up. We will be more careful and smarter to take care of ourselves.

Family is not just blood. It’s the people in your life who wants you in theirs. The people who want you for who you are. Ones who would do anything

to see you smile, as well as love you no matter what. My family is filled with strength. Founded on faith and hope. My family is God’s amazing masterpiece. Without my family I would have no strength,  love, or  help. The purpose of having a family is to work together.

To me, family is the most important thing in the whole wide world. They are there for me. They take care of me, and they always love me no matter what. I love my family so much. No matter what we go through. No matter how we argue and fight. At the end, Family is love and love is family. Having a family is a gift and a blessing.I promise you they will never leave you.

Writing is one of my favourite subjects in school. Writing an explanation about my family is my highlight of my day. I found this explanation writing really fascinating. I just have to keep on trying to fix up one of those small mistakes.

Chicken Goujons

Chicken Goujons, the most delicious snack ever that you can make everyday. Food Tech is amazing but the best thing about learning how to cook is that you have an amazing Teacher and amazing food. Chicken Goujons were kind of difficult, but it was much more easier at the end. I will like to Thank Miss Heka for the lovely food we had made this week.

Cooking at Tech

Monday is my favourite day because every monday we go to Tech. I am always hyped and eager to do cooking with Miss Heka, and she is the best cooking teacher. Today we made something amazing and I can't wait to see what we make next.

I have done the most best writing ever, because Malakai fekitoa is one of my favourite Rugby player. What I have did is that I have explained what he achieved, what happen, and how it happened. I found this really fun, and I hope to do this again.
