I went to Rangitoto which is a nature reserve and the largest volcano in New Zealand. The best thing I liked was aka bird watching. Seeing all the native birds such as the More pork, Tui's,Weka's, and the kea's.
After I went to Rangitoto I went to Karekare beach which is the beach where they filmed the 1993 film The Piano. After a nice swim and a picnic on the beach it was time to go to the oldest kauri tree in New Zealand the Tane Mahuta.
Tane Mahuta is one of the most oldest trees in all of New Zealand. Tane Mahuta is the most giant kauri tree and is guessed to be 1250 and 2500 years old. I did an long walk to the forest. My journey on the track was so fun.

Bonus activity
This is my design of the New Zealand flag. What inspired me to do this sort of design is the Silver fern is actually representing the New Zealand sports team we have in New Zealand for example: The All Blacks and The Silver Ferns. I thought about our current flag and I thought what will suit better with a fern and I thought oh the 4 stars. I always say the 4 red stars are representing the blood that was shed and the lives that were lost at the war, so I think the stars are are really important. This is my design of the New Zealand flag I hope you like it.

The Flag of New Zealand:
To me our Flag represents every Man and Women that went to war and sacrificed their lives for our country and also for the people who didn't make it back to their home land.
To me our flag represents the blood that was shed and the lives that were lost in that war with love and gratitude.
To me our flag represents us human beings respecting our tradition and us Kiwi's should always set an example for the young ones for them to grow with strength and love.

Rangitoto:
The reason why I picked Rangitoto it's because it's a beautiful volcano and it is an wonderful island to explore and to be adventurous to learn more about the island
Auckland Memorial Museum
The reason why I choose the Auckland Memorial Muesuem because I think it is important to learn more about our history and also for the people that has fought for our country.
Mission Bay
The reason why I choose Mission bay is because that is a place where you can just relax go for a Run,Swim or even for lunch or dinner. Mission bay is just a place of happiness.
Auckland Domain
The reason why I choose the Auckland Domain because it is one of the most oldest parks and I think it is amazing there. It is one of those places that is breathtaking and which is is enjoyable for families and friends.
Auckland Zoo
The reason why I choose the Auckland Zoo is because young children will love to discover new animals and new creatures that they have never seen before and the fun part is feeding the animals.

Early Voyagers
Over 400 years before Christopher Columbus and the rest of the Europe worried about falling off the edge of the world. The Maori people traveled thousands of miles across the unknown pacific ocean in small canoes and became the first inhabitants of Aotearoa New Zealand. Maori culture is an important part of New Zealand's National identity.
Kiwi love the great outdoors:

For the same reasons that many visitors come to New Zealand is because on how us Kiwi's have developed a passion for the outdoors. New Zealanders love the water and nearly 15% of New Zealand Families own their own boat. Hiking,Camping,fishing,bush and beach walks are other popular things that New Zealanders do to either follow in the foot steps of the most adventurous Kiwi Sir Edmund Hillary. Who everyone knows that he is the one that conquered Mount Everest, the worlds Highest Mountain in 1953.
Rugged Pioneers:
New Zealand's Europeans pioneers were brave, rugged and independent pioneers. Before the farms got established and settled the pioneers first had to clear the land. Their elements forced these early New Zealanders to become hardly multi skilled. These Rugged pioneers set a perfect example for a generation of young kiwi's business executives such as computer workers,software builders,film makers,fashion designers, and sportspeople making waves around the world.

Prototec
Today for maths I did another prototec maths test to see If I still understand fractions and percentages. Again I got 10/10 and I am glad that I still understand Fractions and Percentages. I found this real easy thanks to my friends and my teacher.
