Winter learning journey Activity 2

I definitely agree that we should hunt down these possums from killing our native trees. About 1911 the government allowed the farmers to hunt down the possums because of their damage that they have done to the crops and the orchards. However, they were still protected in the native forest areas.

Not only they are ruining and damaging our crops they are also eating Native birds eggs. This is unsafe for the Native animals and also for the community. Native animals provide so many things for our country but we can't just let these possums come in and ruin everything for us I mean come on. We should clear the air and have no possums to harm the Native animals and our Native trees

Our Native Trees and Native animals are important. Lets stop this from happening in New Zealand.

This is a vey persuasive argument! I like that you have given so many good reasons why we should get rid of the possums! I believe you!
