What a beautiful Cathedral! What made you choose this one?
I think it's amazing how big and detailed these cathedrals were back in those times where they didn't have quite the same tools and building resources as we have these days. I remember visiting the mosques in Turkey and looking closely at the beautiful hand crafted designs that were so detailed and precisely made. New Zealand is a lot younger so we don't have as many old buildings.
Do you know how long the Florence Cathedral took to build?
